Is hooking someone elses iPod up to your iTunes, and downloading songs onto theirs, illegal?

Question

Is hooking someone elses iPod up to your iTunes, and downloading songs onto theirs, illegal?
Is that what they mean by SHARING MUSIC.

Answer

Yes, it is completely legal to do it. But if you plug your ipod into your computer at home and try to play that song of your computer it will ask you for the password of the person who baught it. Other than that if you listen to it off your ipod your good.brbrOfcourse i assume at this point you already clicked quotManage Own Music.quot brAnd actually there is a limit of how many times you can take someones music. You are allowed to upload the music off of different computer but no more to that. And if you already have different peoples music on your ipod, you can do what i did, download and Ipod Rip program which copies the music off the ipod to your computer. Copied all the music into my itunes and than reset my ipod, and put all the music back on but from my computer now one could still use another different computer
