is it ilegal to put a movie on ur ipod from a disc that u bought like if i bought a dvd is it ilegal to put it on my ipod

Not in the least. You own the movie, you can put it on your iPod, computer, or whatever. What you cant do is make copies for everybody and or charge for copies.
